Doctors have been known to recommend video games for people that have bad hand-to-eye coordination. I know this because my friend had bad hand–to-eye coordination and he talked to a doctor and he told him to buy a game system, he recommended the Wii, but he said if you can’t buy one of those he said to try a PSP. About a month later he started to play games better and he stopped dropping things like crazy, even his reflexes got better. I’m not just making this up if you don’t believe me then try it out for yourself. Scientists did a study in 2005 to see if some one can spot something faster. The test results were that the person that played video games spot items in a busy environment up to 100 milliseconds faster than a person that does not.
The down fall of this is scientists also studied if video games are relate to child obesity and of cores it did, but studies show that this occurs when a child has a low self esteem and want to get a way from problems and only wants to play video games. The shocking thing is this occurs mostly in young female teens from feeling secluded from society. This can be a simple fix as long as the parents notice it and are willing to change it the right and calm way. Parents should not just yell at their kids to stop playing, this may cause the child to rebel.

One problem with gaming is the gamer might experience:
In the wrist and hands this is the Symptoms for Carpal Tunnel, this is usually caused from traumatic movements to the wrist and hands.
If you feel only pain and not the numbness then it is probably not carpal tunnel, but if the pain still last for more than one day the best thing to do would be to talk to a doctor. Taking vitamin B and taking breaks between games will help prevent carpal tunnel, you could also try eating bananas because bananas contain a high grade protein, which includes three of the essential amino acids.
